From School Library Journal
Grade 3–6—Fifth-grader Nathan Abercrombie has more problems than just being unathletic and unpopular. After a particularly grueling day, he is convinced by outcast Abigail to try a new remedy developed by her scientist uncle called Hurt-Be-Gone, which kills emotions. When Nathan is inadvertently doused in the substance, he becomes partially dead. He no longer needs to eat, breathe, or sleep, and he doesn't feel any pain. With Abigail's uncle on the lam from the police, Nathan has only Abigail and his friend Mookie to restore him back to life before the remedy takes full effect, making him permanently dead. The first book in a promising new series introduces likable characters beset by unusual but humorous circumstances. The gross-out factor—Nathan gets a fork jammed through his nose, loses a thumb, and pulls off a little finger—will appeal to reluctant readers. This book will have a large following.—Beth Cuddy, Seward Elementary School, Auburn, NY END

Great Light Summer Read for Kids!
By The Invisible Pam
Some days just stink.

Nathan Abercrombie is having the worst day of his life. To say that it was horrible would be an understatement. First off, he's diss'd by the prettiest girl in school-- the one he just happens to have a huge crush on. Then he's chosen last during gym. And then... and then, in a foolish effort to ease the heartache of being stuck forever at the losers' table, he gets talked into visiting a mad scientist, where he accidentally gets doused with an experimental fluid that leaves him dying, one inch at a time.

I won't disclose the rest of the plot (nor the twist at the end), but suffice it to say that Nathan and Abigail (the mad scientist's neice) and Nathan's best friend Mookie, end up on a hunt for a cure for Nathan's zombie-like condition. A hunt that teaches them quite a few life lessons.

Wrap-Up:::
If you've got a kid who has a funny bone and who likes a little gross humor, point them at My Rotten Life.

It's a light-hearted book that they should amuse most kids (and mom's like me!). David Lubar's jazzy writing keeps the story moving along. And I swear he had me chuckling outloud on just about every page.

Funny and insightful, Nathan Abercrombie, Accidental Zombie ought make a good Read-aloud. Now that I've finished the book, I plan on sharing it with my 7- and 9- year-olds.

No foul language. No unseemliness, unless you count a little rotting flesh.

Zombie? Not me!
By Tim Lasiuta
Some kids books just don't make the grade, no matter what age level they're written for. Thankfully, My Rotten Life is more than your `age appropriate' book.

At Belgosi Junior High School Nathan Abercrombie is a nobody. He sits at the loser table, and gets marks that distinguish nobody. His friends are not high on the social hierarchy either. Going to an Uncle of one of his less popular classmates, he is splashed by a Hurt No More cure that turns him into zombie one piece of body at a time. His friends Mookie, Abigail, and Adam suffer with him but only Mookie, and science wonder Abigail know his situation. His mom think he's not well, and his teachers don't notice his malady. He can't breathe, eat, or use the washroom, but he can run and field day without pain. In `death' he excels, in life, he sucks. Live or dead, Nathan will never be without friends again and his life will not be the same ever.

So as to not give the book away. This is a delightful, silly, enthusiastic , charming book that David Lubar put his heart into. It shows. The pacing is excellent, the characters are kids my son may know, yet it is divorced enough from reality to give a `why not' ?

As a parent, I enjoyed this book and highly recommend it. I think it's on par with Deep Fried Worms and other classic kids books. Well done Mr Lubar!

Is Being Half-Dead Really Half-Bad?
By Sheila Clover
[[VIDEOID:38523781]]Nathan Abercrombie is a typical fifth-grader with ordinary fifth-grade problems: he is the second skinniest kid in school, which secures him a position at the "second-best" table with the other less popular students. He has issues with "catty," more popular girls, overbearing bullies, and gym teachers. Life for Nathan is rough. So when his life's course is altered by his being exposed to an experimental serum that turns him into a zombie, he is not terribly bothered by the ordeal. After all, he has more time for video games, since he no longer requires sleep. And bullies will never be a problem for a kid who no longer experiences pain.
Being half-dead may not be that bad, and Nathan is even starting to become more popular at his school because of it. But what if he wanted to become human again? Is there even a way of returning to his real life from this half-dead life that he now calls his own? Find out in the first book from an all-new series from David Lubar, My Rotten Life: Nathan Abercrombie, Accidental Zombie.
David Lubar is an author whose work has been highly praised by reviewers of children's literature. His first novel, Hidden Talents, was an ALA Best Book for Young Adults, and his subsequents works have been well-received by young readers everywhere. This latest work deals with the hilarity and hijinks that are merely an integral part of childhood for so many. His latest novel is a delightful, comedic read best suited to middle grade readers.

The Masada Scroll, by Paul Block, Robert Vaughan

In the great tradition of novels like The Robe by Lloyd C. Douglas and, more recently, Christ the Lord by Anne Rice and Stone Tables by Orson Scott Card, The Masada Scroll is bold and reverent, with deep and important meaning for today's world.

At the heart of this timely novel is the discovery of a previously unknown gospel that predates the four gospels of the New Testament. The scroll introduces a mysterious symbol that combines the Star of David, the Cross of Christianity and the Crescent and Star of Islam. None of these symbols existed at the time the Gospel was written, adding to the mystery that Michael Flannery, an Irish priest, must unravel.

Flannery discovers that the symbol represents the Trevia Dei, or Three Paths to God. At the heart of Jesus' message is the unity of the paths that lead to God. The true meaning of Trevia Dei has become perverted over the centuries, turning the message of unity into a single path to salvation.

But there are those who do not want the message of this wonderful book of light and love brought to our troubled world, who have chosen to separate rather than unite God's children.

The Masada Scroll is the story of the new Apostles who struggle to bring the simple message of Jesus back into a world desperate for joy.

The Masada Scroll is a tale of the timeless quest for spiritual truth and redemption. It is a story that will change the way you look at the world…and your own heart.

From Booklist
A Catholic priest, an American scholar, and a nice Jewish girl mull over the significance of an ancient document unearthed at the site of Israel's to-the-last-man stand against the Romans. The scroll is the long-theorized "Q" document--an eyewitness, written account of the life of Jesus. The message of the scroll is "trevia dei," or that there are three paths to God--Christianity, Islam, and Judaism. Thus Jesus could become the modern-day prophet of world peace, but naturally, there's an extremist Catholic group that wants to suppress the truth. Block and Vaughan offer up cliche after cliche, but they also include a great deal of arcane knowledge, perhaps even enough to satisfy Da Vinci Code fans.

Journey in time and faith
By Reader
A wonderful, transporting book. Any truly good novel will quickly invite the reader into another world, whether it is historically based or pure fantasy -- will offer an escape from the "real" world and a memorable experience based on the author's imagination. In THE MASADA SCROLL, it seems two authors have collaborated on this very rich, moving story that moves back in forth in time. I found myself completely engrossed in both the present-day story and the ancient world of Israel in the time of the Roman destruction of the nation, after Christ. I cannot recommend this novel more highly for readers who love thrillers and religious fiction and historical novels. Block and Vaughan are writers who make faith come alive through a marvelous cast of characters. I feel fortunate that I read it; it will stick with me for a long time to come.

Disappointing
By S. Reed
I had high hopes for this book, and found it to be a let down. I enjoyed the story of the Roman & biblical characters, but the modern characters seemed to be very sketchily drawn. The "heroes" weren't strongly written enough for me to really root for them, while the "villains" were barely touched upon at all. The modern climax between one of the major good guys and the bad guys occurred 2/3 of the way through, and then the modern story line just seemed to peter off. As another reviewer stated, this book relied more heavily on "stunt" action than true plot or character action.

However, there was a relatively solid resolution to the historical story line, and the historical characters were more richly drawn.

It's almost as if one author handled the modern portion and the other handled the biblical portion, with the "modern" writer working on a 2 book deal and the "historical" writing working on a 1 book deal.

The ending was incredibly unsatisfactory. Loose ends abound for the contemporary story, and I can't find any information at all about whether this book was designed as a stand-alone or as a 2 or 3 part series.

I really liked the idea that all faiths are roads to the same joy of God, and the idea that we should be tolerant of other beliefs because they are simply different expressions of the same thing. But there was so much that COULD have been done with this that wasn't. I didn't find this book to be particularly involving, thrilling, or thought provoking.

Kudos to The Masada Scroll
By Ragnar
Block and Vaughan are to be commended for a gripping story with timeless relevance for today's reader. Their exploration of the story of the "good thief" crucified with Christ, and the thief's son's role in the formation of the early Christian church resonates with realism. The interweaving of past and present keeps one turning the pages to find out what happens next. At the book's core is the thought-provoking and potentially controversial idea that Jews, Christians and Muslims may each find their own way to the One God.

Star Bright! A Christmas Story, by Andrew M. Greeley

It's beginning to look a lot like an American Christmas: unpleasant relatives, miserable travel, a slobbering dog-and one "harmless American of Irish origins," Jack Flanigan, who is reluctantly falling in love with a young Russian woman studying at Harvard.

She's spending Christmas alone in a foreign country, so he invites the dark-eyed beauty home to Chicago for the holiday. Even though it isn't Christmas in the Russian Orthodox calendar, she accepts!

What happens when she gets to Chicago and caught in the maelstrom of commercialized Yuletide? Enough to say, there's a tree, and a feast, and midnight Mass, and a gaggle of contentious Flanigans of all ages-who have the merriest Christmas ever-and nothing will ever be quite the same for any of them.

Especially for Jack.

A Christmas tale from priest and best-selling author Greeley.
Copyright 1997 Reed Business Information, Inc.

From Kirkus Reviews
Prolific Father Greeley (Summer at the Lake, p. 401) takes a stab at It's a Wonderful Christmas and comes up . . . all charm and wit. Good Irish-Catholic Jack Flanigan, a third-year Russian major at Boston College, sees a beautiful, sad-eyed visiting student reading a Russian paper on a bench in Harvard Square and takes her out for tea and doughnuts. Her face spectacularly exotic, Odessa Tatiana Alexseevna Shyuskulya, an orphan, is in the States on a scholarship. Not long ago, her communist atheism was overwhelmed by God's grace descending upon her, making her a total believer . . . and far more comfortable with the idea of Her (God) being in every room and sitting at every table than good Irish-Catholic Jack can bear. When 21-year-old Odessa believes something, a force of nature fills her. So perhaps Jack has acted thoughtlessly in inviting her home for Christmas in Chicago with his good Irish family? Dad, a surgeon going off to Bosnia for Christmas, is a shanty Irish bigot. Brother Ed is a tall handsome jerk who fancies himself a University of Chicago intellectual. Sister Stephanie, a boring, spoiled-lazy, very beautiful flake, has an idiot husband, Joe, with a Harvard degree, who's a substitute teacher with longings to act and write, while teenage sister Brigid smokes pot and thinks she understands everything while understanding hardly half. Meantime, the main mode of conversation for Jack's lawyer mother, even during family brawls, is the cross-exam. This already hangs like a full Christmas bag, and Greeley distributes his dialogue masterfully. Though Odessa's innocence proves unbeatable, tension fades as the only question left becomes: Will Greeley find some conflict to resolve? (He doesn't.) -- Copyright ©1997, Kirkus Associates, LP. Review

“Father Greeley has given great attention to the role of imagination in the life of faith. What he is doing is re-evangelizing the imagination, using fiction to address the faith and the mysteries of the faith. That's an extraordinarily significant project.” ―Cardinal Francis George, archbishop of Chicago

“Nobody has ever left the church because of an Andrew Greeley novel, but many have been attracted back to it by him.” ―Rev. Ron Rolheiser, O.M.I.

“This modern-day parable relates a charming story with a message to which we can all relate. . . . Pure Greeley, Star Bright! is yet another example of this distinguished author's skill at imparting truths in the guise of enjoyable entertainment.” ―The Chattanooge Free Press

“All charm and wit.” ―Kirkus Reviews on Star Bright!

“The perfect holiday read . . . Greeley capitalizes on his experience writing suspense to keep us guessing until the final pages. His descriptions of both scene and character are vivid and full of evocative detail.” ―The Calgary Herald on Star Bright!

“Not your average Christmas tale . . . As usual, Greeley is a kindly matchmaker and a forgiving Catholic: fans may gobble down his latest confection like so much Christ rom-baba.” ―Publishers Weekly on Star Bright!

A True Little Spiritual Classic
By A Customer
Greeley's Irish Chicago meets sexy lay Russian Orthodox women's Christian mysticism somewhere between Boston College and Harvard Yard. Its improbability viz the Greeley corpus actually helps him compress a short, simple, yet spiritually sublime plot-and-reflections. (No Ryan family-tree to keep straight in your head!) If Odessa/Tatiana doesn't "seduce" you in many different (good!) ways, get your head, heart, spirit, and hormone-levels examined!
This book is little, but read it nice and slow, sometimes a page a day when herself is showing boyfriend Jack, his disgruntled family, and us a truer world-next-door spiritually. And read it over and over...maybe every December during the crush of the holidays. (Deeper than that Christmas pageant story they put on TV back in the '80s.) You'll find more than one new gem each time through--'pearls of great price,' for no great price! And it might just improve your life...and that of your significant others! Profound, fun, cross-cultural, sexy but not "steamy" (Darn!), not a murder mystery but that's OK; further developments in Greeley's study and reporting of 'normal' Christians' approach to life. Technically, some typos and words missing, but it's usually clear what it is, so you lose no meaning. And stay with the meaning, because it's overflowing with it! And hardback is OK because it'll get used over and over for years to come. Sounds like he's working on a series of compressed, reflective, theological Christmas-y novels; great idea!

A lovely Christmas gift
By L. L. Holmes
I'm a sucker for a Christmas story, and an admirer of Greeley's work. No one makes family dynamics more fascinating, or has a greater appreciation for women. This is an offbeat little love story, with love being the operative word. Tatiana, the Russian student Irish Catholic Jack takes home to meet the folks in Chicago for Christmas, is a magical heroine who brings joy and hope to a dysfunctional family. It leaves you smiling and believing in the wonder of the season.

Heartwarming and magical!
By Judith E. Pavluvcik
Andrew Greeley has written a magical tale of love, keeping in tune with the Christmas spirit. Greeley is one of my all time favorite authors, and I have yet to read one of his books, which has not captivated me and given me food for thought.
The reader will find this heartwarming a tale a quick read, as the reader is held in suspense until the very end. Greeley weaves his wit, charm and mystical musings into the romantic tale of Jack, an Irish Catholic lad meeting a beautiful Russian college student at Harvard. Odessa, a bit of a Russian mystic, weaves her own kind of magic with everyone who comes into her presence. Her charming and innocent ways at looking at life incorporate the mystical and spirituality of her culture.
Jack decides to bring Odessa home to Chicago to meet his family for Christmas. With her simplicity, innocence, charm, and grace, Odessa manages to mend the uptight Flanigan family and bring them closer together than anyone thought was possible!
This is a wonderful tale and helps to bring home the message that people come into our lives for a reason, as God reveals him/her self to us in those that we meet.
Another uplifting winner from Farther Andrew Greeley!

The Codex, by Douglas Preston

"Greetings from the dead," declares Maxwell Broadbent on the videotape he left behind after his mysterious disappearance. A notorious treasure hunter and tomb robber, Broadbent accumulated over a half a billion dollars' worth of priceless art, gems, and artifacts before vanishing---along with his entire collection---from his mansion in New Mexico.

At first, robbery is suspected, but the truth proves far stranger: As a final challenge to his three sons, Broadbent has buried himself and his treasure somewhere in the world, hidden away like an ancient Egyptian pharaoh. If the sons wish to claim their fabulous inheritance, they must find their father's carefully concealed tomb.

The race is on, but the three brothers are not the only ones competing for the treasure. This secret is so astounding it cannot be kept quiet for long. With half a billion dollars at stake, as well as an ancient Mayan codex that may hold a cure for cancer and other deadly diseases, others soon join the hunt---and some of them will stop at nothing to claim the grave goods.
The bestselling coauthor of such page-turning thrillers as Relic and The Cabinet of Curiosities, Douglas Preston now spins an unforgettable tale of greed, adventure, and betrayal.

From Publishers Weekly
Half of the writing team responsible for Relic, The Cabinet of Curiosities and other adventure bestsellers takes a solo flight, as Preston's writing partner, Lincoln Child, did in last year's Utopia. Like Child, Preston flies high and fast, turning in a briskly involving science-based thriller. The titular book is a Mayan artifact containing the sum of that people's knowledge about the medical applications of indigenous plants. The information is worth billions to any pharmaceutical company, but the Codex, along with numerous other priceless objects, was taken deep into the Honduran jungle by dying legendary tomb robber Maxwell Broadbent, to be buried along with him in a secret crypt. Max left instructions to his three grown sons that the only way to get their inheritance will be for them to track him and find the tomb. Max, who viewed his progeny as "quasi-failures," reasoned that by accomplishing this daunting task, the three-a veterinarian, a hippie spiritual seeker and a second-rate professor-will have proven themselves as men. What follows is rip-roaring jungle adventure, outfitted with a nasty villain (a sadistic PI who's also after the treasures), a beautiful blonde (partner to the vet), two memorable Indian characters, hosts of wild animals, terrific atmosphere and cliffhangers galore. The novel's main weakness is its lack of a strong central protagonist-the characters work more as an ensemble cast-such as Preston/Child have presented in their wonderful series detective, Special Agent Pendergast. Yet as always, Preston delivers the goods in a first-rate beach novel that most readers will be enjoying-at least in hardcover-while looking at snow rather than sand.

Jungle treasure hunt
By Eileen
As a team, Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child have produced some great thrillers. And it turns out that their solo efforts are every bit as fast-paced and exciting. Max Broadbent, who is dying of cancer, leaves a videotape to his three sons announcing that he has buried himself and his half-billion dollar art and antiquities collection in a tomb in an undisclosed location. If the sons want their inheritance, they must track down the tomb. This begins a long treasure hunt through the jungles and rain forests of Honduras. The title refers to a codex, a Mayan compendium of plant pharmacology that becomes the most hotly contested object of the treasure hunt.
The story line switches between the separate treasure hunting parties and the pharmaceutical company executive who desperately needs the codex to keep his company from going bankrupt. The action converges in a final showdown over the treasure. This story has vivid descriptions of the jungle and its dangers. There are so many exotic natives, battles between man and beast, chases, narrow escapes, and ancient ruins that it resembles an Indiana Jones film. In fact, the story is perfectly suited to become a movie. The premise of this story might be far-fetched, but stay with it and you will be rewarded with a grand adventure, full of danger, treachery and surprises. I recommend this novel for those who enjoy pure escapism and armchair travel to exotic places.

Saved from boredom!
By Sebastian Fernandez
After a business meeting ended earlier than expected and not finding any earlier flights out of Dallas, I was facing an eight-hour wait in the airport. I spent some time eating in one of the restaurants there, but after that there wasn't much else to do. Luckily I had this book with me! Time flew by while I was immersed in the story that took me through the jungle in Honduras.
Maxwell Broadbent summons his three sons to his house to talk about their inheritance because he is a dying victim of cancer and has a collection of art and jewels worth half a billion dollars. When Phil, Tom and Vernon get there they find no sign of their father or of the valuable collection. What they do find is a video in which Max explains that he has done a bad job as a father and that as a result his kids have no goals other than wait for their inheritance. Therefore, he has sealed himself in a tomb somewhere in the world with his collection and his sons will have to find him if they want their inheritance. This is supposed to teach them independence, the value of work, self-reliance and how to take care of each other. From this point on, a race that involves the brothers, the police officers that were in the house investigating the "theft" and Maxwell's previous partner in treasure hunting.
The participants in the quest soon find out that one of the items in the collection is a Mayan Codex that contains the secrets resulting from centuries of experimenting with plants and animals found in the jungle. The value of this work is priceless, especially for pharmaceutical companies, which spend millions in research and development. The situation starts getting more and more dangerous as all these elements come into play and the fast-paced action will grab you and not let go until the end. This story has it almost all, action, suspense, love, dismay, hope, betrayal and even humor!
The only weak point I found is that the author was careless in some Spanish expressions he used throughout the book. For example he uses "Veinte cuatros" instead of "Veinticuatros" or "Buenos tardes" instead of "Buenas tardes". Anyway, this is a very minor issue and the book is really great. The reason why I gave the book four stars instead of five is that the story line is not very original. However, if I were you I would not hesitate to give this book a try!

Preston's Bungle in the Jungle
By Gary Griffiths
I'm a big Preston/Childs fan. But after successive reads of Lincoln Child's "Utopia", and Douglas Preston's "The Codex", it's becoming clear that these two do much better as a team than when going solo. While "Utopia" had its moments (and even gets a cameo in "Codex"!), Preston's implausible "Codex" falls short on virtually all counts.
In a nutshell, "Codex" is the story of an eccentric father, who, dying of cancer, decides to bury with him a fortune in rare art he has collected over a lifetime. The catch is that his choice of a burial spot in his secret, leaving it to his three insufferable sons to locate and claim their inheritance. It goes downhill from there. The brothers are chronically whining about the injustice of "father's" scheme, while reminding the reader every page or so what a rotten childhood they had. About the time this banal sibling chatter becomes unbearable, Preston subjects the reader to a steady stream pidgin English from one of the natives in the jungle in which the boys inevitably end up ("Thankee, brother. We talkee later". I'm not making this up). Preston throws in the standard love interest - blond, brainy, handy with a horse and rifle, and initially while hard to get, there are no surprises to where this "Laura Croft" will end up. Stashed away with "father's" treasure is the lost Mayan Codex, the document that will unlock the mysteries behind all diseases human. Right. So while the boys and girl are running around the Central American jungles looking for the lost tomb and its Codex, the stereotypical evil CEO - in the case from a pharmaceutical giant - has his even more evil henchman chasing them through the swamps. In summary, a silly plot, cardboard characters that still manage to annoy, and lame dialogue, and a predictable ending add up to a pretty disappointing read. Skip this one, and save your time and money for (hopefully) a rebound when Preston and Childs team up again for this summer's "Brimstone".

Acclaimed author Elizabeth Haydon returns with a heartbreaking tale of love and valor in The Weaver’s Lament, the ninth and final installment of her USA Today bestselling Symphony of Ages series that began with Rhapsody.

For a thousand years, the lands ruled by the Cymrian Alliance have been at peace. When the brutal death of a dear friend catapults the kingdom to the brink of civil war, Rhapsody finds herself in an impossible situation: forced to choose between her beloved husband, Ashe, and her two oldest friends, Grunthor and Achmed. Choosing her husband will mean the death of thousands of innocents. Siding against him will cost Rhapsody the other half of her soul, both in this life and the next.

In The Weaver's Lament, the lines between the past and future are irrevocably blurred, and the strength of true love is tested in unthinkable ways. Bestselling author Elizabeth Haydon has delivered a spectacular conclusion to the Symphony of Ages.

"A full-scale tale of warfare and political intrigue that high-fantasy fans will enjoy. Fans of the series will be satisfied, and newcomers will find themselves welcome." ―Booklist on The Hollow Queen

About the Author
As the daughter of an air force officer, USA Today bestselling epic fantasy author ELIZABETH HAYDON began traveling at an early age and has since traveled all over the world. She draws on the imagery of these visits in the Symphony of Ages series, and blends her love of music, anthropology, herbalism and folklore into much of her writing. Haydon is also a harpist and a madrigal singer (a singer of medieval songs). She lives with her family on the East Coast.

I loved the first trilogy of this nine book series
By Mary C. Weisenburger
I loved the first trilogy of this nine book series, and liked the rest of them. But "The Weaver's Lament," although it takes place a thousand years after the previous book, took me back in spirit, resonance, and plot to the first trilogy. In this series capper, I watched in fascination as Elizabeth Haydon, like an expert weaver, deftly wove together all the books' plot lines and question marks until all was resolved into a shining tapestry. Rhapsody, Ashe, and their sons, daughters, grands, and greats enliven the first chapters with a heart-warming idyll of devoted family love, and Achmed and Grunthor interact with Rhapsody and Ashe's son Meridion with a surprising (at least for Achmed!) affection - and then tragedy strikes. The main characters are put to a heart-breaking test, but Haydon, the truthful weaver, allows them to respond in absolute fidelity to their strong yet fallible personalities and their committed relationships. No book since the first trilogy has delved so deeply into these characters' hearts and motivations or brought me so often to tears. How Haydon creatively resolves the nine-book-long tension between Rhapsody, Ashe, and Achmed is a wonder to behold, and worth the book. The last scene is powerful! Not as long a book as any lover of this series would wish, but powerful, cathartic, and beautifully, lyrically written. Saying goodbye to characters we love is always heart-breaking, but they exit the stage as heroes all.

The completion or the journey.
By Kindle Customer
Elizabeth is an amazing author. This was one of the best series I have ever read. The depth of the characters were outstanding. I was hooked from the first book and wasn't ever disappointed throughout the rest. I liked the way she ended their journey back at the beginning.
I look forward to reading more of your work in the future
Again well done.
I definitely recommend this book to everyone.

Well, it ended....
By Amanda
I have loved this series...it has helped me through some rough times in my life. This book neatly wraps everything up, a little to neatly though. Everyone gets a happy ending, but without much thought or reason as to why though. There are places where it could have more explored, more written about, more discussed, but where decisions have taken chapters to reason out in past books, mere words are all it takes now. It is a sonnet, when you want an epic poem.
